13 Years of Success at Optio Solutions
Petaluma, Calif. (May 15, 2018) — Optio Solutions, a national debt collection agency, has promoted Kristoffer Antigua to the position of in-house counsel in the Legal department. Antigua joined the company in January 2015 as a collections attorney, and will continue providing pre-litigation and legal collections with responsibilities related to state and federal compliance such as legal research, drafting and updating policies and procedures, and overseeing the day-to-day collection notice function for the agency.
“We look forward to Kris’ contributions as he continues to expand his knowledge and experience in collection compliance,” said Corporate Counsel and Manager of Legal Affairs D. Lilah McLean. “In addition to continuing to work closely with our outside vendors in the collection industry, he will provide general assistance with Legal department functions for Optio.”
Antigua maintains the Credit and Collection Compliance Officer (CCCO) designation from ACA International, representing an advanced level of knowledge in compliance strategy.
“I look forward to expanding my role and helping Optio Solutions become the leader in the industry,” he said.
Antigua received a B.A. in political science and government from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, followed by a J.D. from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
