Petaluma, Calif. (June 1, 2016) — Optio Solutions participated in the ACA International’s 2016 Collectors Challenge during the month of April, furthering a commitment to social responsibility that was recognized by the California Association of Collectors via its 2014 Outstanding Community Service Award.
The Collectors Challenge allows the ACA Education Foundation to expand its efforts in financial education and instills a more positive public image of the collections industry.

In 2015, Optio employees participated in the Collectors Challenge for the first time by purchasing bake-sale items and donating to join casual dress days on their way to raising $1335 for education.
In other community service, Optio employees contribute to the Committee on the Shelterless (COTS) and its Thanksgiving Day turkey drive, the Redwood Empire Food Bank, the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program, the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, the ALS Ice Bucket challenge, and the American Red Cross in its efforts to aid victims of hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunami and most recently, victims of the North Texas tornado and those of the Valley Fire in Lake County, California.
