Continuing our charitable missions, Optio Solutions and CrossCheck recently participated in the Salvation Army Angel Tree and Redwood Empire Food Bank – Food Barrel 2011 donation programs.
Both programs are designed to help the needy in the Petaluma and Sonoma County communities.
Optio Solutions and CrossCheck employee donations to the Angel Tree program ensured 50 boys and girls between the ages of 3-17 in Petaluma, California received new toys for Christmas they may not have otherwise received.
Optio Solutions and CrossCheck employee donations to the Redwood Empire Food Bank were similar in response. We donated two full barrels of food for the one in every five Sonoma County residents touched by hunger. One full barrel provides the food necessary to feed a family of four for two weeks.
