Optio Solutions Supports Collectors Education Challenge

Petaluma, Calif. (April 19, 2019) — National debt collection agency Optio Solutions is participating in Collectors Challenge month for the fourth consecutive year. Organized by the ACA International Education Foundation, the April fundraiser supports educational enrichment for employees and family members in the credit and collections industry via the Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship Program.

The foundation helps industry employees and their children reach higher education goals states ACA International. Thirty-five scholarships totaling $50,000 will be awarded in 2019, including a $10,000 scholarship to the student finishing in first place.

“The ACA International Education Foundation supports higher education while raising awareness about the contributions of collection professionals to the national economy,” said Optio President and CEO Chris optio solutionsSchumacher. “Two students who are the children of company employees each qualified for $1,000 awards in 2018, so we understand the positive impact of the program.”

  • A pancake breakfast cooked and served by management.
  • Cash donations ($20 for special dress-down days).
  • Raffles for priority parking spaces.
  • Bake sales on April 26.

“We applaud the Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship Program and its mission of preparing young members of the credit and collections community for career development,” said Client Relations Manager Janet Cipriano. “Similarly, the Tuition Assistance Program here at Optio Solutions is helping several employees with their educational endeavors.”

Optio employees also contribute to fundraising efforts by organizations such as the American Cancer Society, Redwood Empire Food Bank, Redwood Gospel Mission, Salvation Army and more.
