Senior-Level Creditors to Attend CRS: pt 2

In this second article about Collection and Recovery Solutions (CRS) 2019, the spotlight shines on a special keynote address and several networking opportunities for senior-level credits (see part one).

The CRS conference takes place May 8 – 10 in Las Vegas with participants from more than 175 companies and organizations. Credit unions, asset management companies, banks, management services, federal commissions and bureaus are all slated to attend. The event is produced by Resource Management Services, Inc., a consulting company which specializes in recovery and compliance.

Keynote and Networking Opportunities

Rich Karlgaard

CRS 2019 features a keynote from futurist Rich Karlgaard and 13 networking events and opportunities.

Keynote Session – Best Practices in Business Adaptability

Rich Kaarlgard is a global futurist and Forbes publisher. He aims to give his audience a practical understanding of the sometimes chaotic changes being made in the world, from technology to politics, and the effect they will have on their industry and business. Kaarlgard will cover Blockchain, artificial intelligence, and “the internet of things”.

Credit Union Peer Group

This peer group takes place on Wed., May 8 from 3:30 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.  It’s moderated by Dan Vande Zande of Landmark Credit Union. Senior-level creditors will gather to compare notes on concerns and issues they have that hinder the success of credit unions.

Recovery Management Network Sessions (Members Only)

Recovery Management Network (RMN) is a networking organization exclusively for creditors.

RMN provides senior-level creditors contact with their peers and necessary resources and information related to their industry. The management network focuses on maximizing their members’ results and minimizing their risk.

Millennial Peer Group – Collections & Recovery

Moderated by Matt Justice of the Professional Bureau of Collections of Maryland Inc, this group also take place on Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. The peer network is suited for any attendees who meet the age requirements of a Millennial, think like a Millennial, or are interested in them. Young professionals of the industry will meet to discuss the issues most relevant to them.

Creditor’s Roundtables

Attendees can choose three 30-minute roundtables to attend on Friday, May 10. The time ranges for the roundtables are from 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., 10:32 a.m. – 11:02 a.m., and 11:04 a.m. to 11:35 a.m.

The option to choose between different roundtable sessions is intended to give attendees a variety of collection and recovery subjects to participate in. Each roundtable is led by an industry peer with personal experience on the topic at hand.
