Optio Solutions Achieves PPMS Certification

Congratulations to Optio Solutions! Achieving PPMS certification must be lauded, teams thanked exuberantly, and I’d like to take a moment to share the benefit to clients.

What is PPMS?

To become certified through the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals’ (ACA) Professional Practices Management System (PPMS) program, a collection agency must complete extensive documentation, internal audits, third party audits and various training programs, followed by a detailed application process. Annual ongoing auditing, evaluation and compliance are also required to maintain certification.

The PPMS program is based on adhering to 18 industry-specific practice and policy categories designed to:

  • Improve data security
  • Incorporate better staff training
  • Foster continuous improvement
  • Create increased awareness of compliance requirements
  • Provide the basis for professional and efficient handling of issues

Thank You

From day one in 2007, Optio Solutions has maintained its vision and pursuit of being an industry leader providing accounts receivable management and outsourced business processes. You can’t carry this vision or achieve PPMS certification without the talents of many smart, hard-working employees and partners. With that said, thank you to each and every person who helped in placing Optio Solutions among the approximately 1% of ACA’s 5,000 members that have achieved PPMS certification. You read that right; Optio Solutions is 1 of 60 PPMS certified agencies on the planet!

Benefit to Clients

The benefit of PPMS certification to clients is invaluable. It helps them by helping us:

  • Decrease agency mistakes
  • Be even more committed to customer satisfaction
  • Train employees on and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Handle client issues more efficiently and professionally
  • Separate ourselves from the competition because of a willingness to be transparent

These are exciting times for Optio Solutions, as well as for existing and prospective clients, because everything I’ve just mentioned is done in the pursuit of making you more successful.

How has achieving occupational certification, or for your company, been advantageous?
