PETALUMA, Calif. – Optio Solutions, LLC, an accounts receivable management company, today announces certification in ACA International’s Professional Practices Management System (PPMS). PPMS is a management system for collection agencies based upon developing, implementing and adhering to a set of industry-specific professional practices and policies. ACA International, the nation’s leading association of credit and collection professionals, provides education, training, government action and compliance training to its members and the collection industry.
To be awarded certification in PPMS, agencies need to demonstrate they have implemented the system within their organization, confirmed by independent audit. Eighteen elements comprise the program encompassing management responsibility, data identification, security, process control, training and client satisfaction. Only one percent of ACA’s member agencies have completed certification.
