Optio Solutions Donates Turkeys for Thanksgiving

COTS in Petaluma Recipient of 87 Turkeys for Thanksgiving Food Box Program

PETALUMA, Calif. – Optio Solutions, LLC., an accounts receivable management company provided 87 turkeys as a donation to COTS, Committee on the Shelterless, in Petaluma, California on November 11. Employees from both companies participated by donating a 14-18 pound frozen turkey for delivery to the local non-profit. COTS will use the turkeys for their Food Box program for the Thanksgiving meal.

“This was the first year we donated turkeys as a group and all together we contributed over 85 turkeys. COTS provides a truly worthwhile service to our community and we are proud to be able to give back,” said Chris Schumacher, Optio Solutions’ President and CEO. “I was very impressed of the participation from employees and their commitment to assisting this great cause. Optio Solutions employees donate time and money to several local and national organizations including the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life, the Salvation Army and the Redwood Empire Food Bank.
